MONTLY MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

We are thrilled to introduce the new Spartan Sustainer monthly membership program! This initiative aims to provide a sustainable and meaningful way for community members to make a lasting impact on Orono Schools in a convenient and ongoing basis.  

The Spartan Sustainer program is a tax-deductible monthly contribution to support Orono students and educators. The monthly membership allows you to donate easily with automatic payments through your credit or debit card, or direct withdrawal from your bank account. You will also receive a thank you gift associated with your monthly giving amount.

All donations through the program go into the OFE Annual Fund which is invested back into Orono Schools each year to help maintain critical programs, enhance classroom resources, and support innovative initiatives to advance student learning. Examples include K-8 Spanish, K-5 Literacy, Advanced Placement, Character Counts!, new instruments for performing arts and new equipment for robotics programs and engineering classes. Absolutely! Orono Foundation for Education is a 501(c)3 organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible after subtracting the fair market value of any thank you gifts. Taxpayer ID Number 41-1974305. 

You can enter a credit or debit card for monthly payments of you can have your donation withdrawn directly from your bank account. Due to the nature of this program, checks can not be accepted.

Yes, there are small fees for processing payments online. Fees vary depending on credit card company and type of payment: 

– Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club, JCB: 2.99% +$0.30 per transaction

– American Express: 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction

– ACH/Direct Debit: 1% + $0.30 per transaction

At checkout you will have the option to cover the fee or have OFE cover the fee for you. 

Yes, your membership can be changed or cancelled anytime after 90 days. To cancel your membership email OFE at cancel@oronofoundation.org or call 952-545-6873.

You can update your payment method by contacting us at staff@oronofoundation.org or calling 952-545-6873. 

Your membership will automatically renew monthly and annually until you choose to cancel or change it. 

Your thank you gift will be mailed to you. Because we order thank you gifts in bulk to reduce waste and excess inventory, please allow two months for arrival.
