First Annual Spartan Summer Social
Tuesday, August 20th @ Back Channel Brewing, 3:00 – 11:00 p.m. (raffle, live music and games 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.)
Join us for a free, fun and family-friendly evening to reconnect with school friends as we wind down summer and prepare for a new school year. There will be lawn games, live music and food carts available. Back Channel Brewing will donate 5% of all proceeds during the evening to the Orono Foundation to help support Orono Schools.
What’s Brewing in Orono Schools?
Friday, September 13th @ Orono Activity Center, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
Stop by for a coffee and hear from school administration and teachers about what is up and coming in Orono Public Schools. Childcare/supervision will be provided in partnership with Community Education inside the Activity Center. Registration required if childcare/supervision is required. Community Homecoming Tailgate
Friday, September 27th @ Orono High School, 5:00 p.m. – Kick-Off
OFE partners with OHS Student Senate to host this free and family-friendly event for the whole community! Stop by before the game for food trucks, lawn games, face painting, crazy hair, bouncy houses and more!
Give to the Max Day
Thursday, November 21st @ Everywhere, 12:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Join us in supporting Orono Schools on Give to the Max Day Minnesota! This is a state-wide holiday that reminds us all to support the causes we care most about at the end of the year. Learn more about #GTMD and other participating organizations at https://www.givemn.org/gtmd.
Orono Red & Blue Bash
The Bash this year will be the 25th Anniversary celebration of Orono Foundation for Education! This is sure to be a party you don’t want to miss that will both honor those that have helped make the Foundation what it is today and celebrate those who are adding to the legacy and impact on Orono Schools. Twenty-five years is the silver anniversary so to honor this the theme will be ‘Silver Screen’. Step out onto the red carpet and our OFE Walk of Fame dressed as your favorite on-screen character from any period. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
