Our alumni are tremendously important in maintaining traditions and growing the high level of excellence of Orono. The Alumni Association coordinates homecoming events, hosts business networking events, and supports scholarships and mentoring opportunities for Orono alumni. The purpose of the Orono High School Distinguished Alumni Award and Promising Alumni Award is to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements made by alumni in their chosen field or occupation and/or as positive contributors to their community.
