HOW TO GIVE:
You can make a one-time gift or become a Spartan Sustainer and give a recurring gift to support Orono Schools. Your gifts not only fill the gaps in insufficient state funding. They increasestudent confidence in reading, math, science and foreign language proficiency. They build character and social skills to improve relationships and mental health. They foster creativity and access to technology and the Arts. They increase academic rigor to better prepare students for college. They develop our teachers to improve classroom instruction and promote teacher satisfaction. And so much more!
Each of our amazing parent associations does an incredible amount each year to support our students and teachers. Where the Foundation supports programs implemented across the entire district (Pre-K to 12), parent associations have a more concentrated focus on their school/building. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports grades K-5, Orono Middle School Parents Association (OMSPA) grades 6-8, and Spartan Parents Association (SPA) grades 9-12. Click on their logos below to learn more about what they fund and how to give.
Furthermore, Orono Schools has numerous student activities and athletic programs as well as a variety of other non-profit organizations that serve Orono and the surrounding communities. You can find many of these organizations on the Give to the Max website.
WHEREVER YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE,
FOR MAKING AN IMPACT ON THE ORONO SCHOOLS COMMUNITY!
