WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY CHILD DESERVES THE CHANCE TO THRIVE.
We are excited to be hosting the Bash in-person again this spring! The Orono Foundation for Education raises private funds for our public school district to assist the schools in providing critical resources that enable our schools to take on initiatives that give Orono its unique character and excellent academic programs.
The Bash is our largest fundraiser of the year, with all proceeds going to support the Orono School District. Over the Foundation’s twenty-two years, we have provided more than $8,000,000 to Orono Schools. Private funds are necessary to bridge the gap and provide an excellent education for every single Orono student. With budget shortfalls and inflation, the Orono Schools need our support now more than ever!
The Orono Foundation for Education works with the Orono Schools to harness the community’s time, talent and financial resources to ensure the Schools have the resources to continue their tradition of excellence and to empower all students to achieve their highest potential.
Help us BRIDGE the gap between ADEQUATE and EXCELLENT.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do donations and sponsorships make an impact?
After covering expenses, proceeds from the Bash are placed into the Foundation’s Annual Fund. Donations directed to the Annual Fund supports the immediate needs of the Orono Schools, including teacher training, technology and curriculum, and additional teachers and specialists.
- The Foundation truly serves all students and teachers across the K-12 spectrum.
- The Foundation supports teacher training, additional teachers and specialists, and technology and coursework not offered at schools of a similar size. These efforts impact all Orono students, their whole learning experience, and their entire education trajectory.
- The Foundation knows that each year the district leadership will thoroughly and diligently assess and identify the greatest needs across the K-12 spectrum and set very strategic priorities.
- The District then works closely with the Foundation to finalize where extra funding is needed and where ti would have the biggest impact.
Can I split the cost of a table or sponsorship with others?
Yes! If you are interested in splitting a sponsorship table, please email Katy Schoen at katy@oronofoundation.org. For each person paying for part of the sponsorship to receive a tax receipt from the Foundation, payment MUST be made to the Foundation directly. We can help create invoices and links to pay for a split sponsorship to each paying party. Remember- no tax receipt can be given to an attendee that does not pay the Foundation directly.
What should I wear to the Bash?
You can go as Royal as you want! Cocktail attire and/or costumes highly encouraged!
Will there be single tickets available?
Yes, single tickets are contingent upon space left available and will be available March 24, 2023
What is your Refund Policy?
If the event is canceled, you will have the option to have a portion of, or all of your sponsorship/ticket refunded in full.
