Don't Be late for this very important date!
We are excited to be hosting The Bash in-person this spring after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic!
The Orono Foundation for Education raises private funds for our public school district to assist the schools in providing critical resources that enable our schools to take on initiatives that give Orono its unique character and excellent academic programs. The Bash is our largest fundraiser of the year, with all proceeds going to support the Orono School District. As the Orono School District faces a growing disparity between reduced taxpayer state funding and growing budget shortfalls, we need your support now more than ever!
This year’s event will feature live entertainment, dinner, cocktails, live auction, and more. You don’t want to be late for this very important date!
Space is limited and this event is expected to SELL OUT!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How Do Donations & Sponsorships Make An Impact?
After covering expenses, proceeds from the bash are placed in the Foundation Annual Fund. These monies are granted to the school for curriculum purchases, staff training, books, and more to help meet the Orono Schools’ needs and maintain their level of excellence.
The schools depend on these funds to help cover the shortfalls in the school budget.
- Can I split the cost of a table or sponsorship with others?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate requests to split tables. You are free to share the cost of a table with others, but one person must make the purchase through the Foundation and will be the primary contact. Tax deduction letter from the Foundation will be addressed to the purchaser/primary contact, no exceptions.
- What should I wear to the Bash?
Anything you are comfortable in – anything goes! If you want to try and stay with our theme of the “Mad Hatter’s Ball” we suggest you think of a fancy tea party, watch the Alice in Wonderland movies or look to steampunk trends for inspiration. Bring your top hats, fascinators and gloves, fancy floral dresses or go all out dressed as Alice, the Mad Hatter or Queen of Hearts!
- What is the refund policy?
If the event is canceled, you will have the option to have a portion of , or all of your sponsorship/ticket refunded in full.
If you yourself are unable to attend the event, you may choose to transfer your sponsorship/tickets to another party, upon 48 hours’ notice, but you will not be refunded your money.
- Will masks be required at the event?
The Foundation will comply with State laws and CDC guidance that are in place at the time of the event.
